About Doug

Doug Smith has been helping Buyers and Sellers make good decisions in the Greater Little Rock area since 1982. His dedication to his profession set him on a path to become President of the Arkansas Realtors Association in 2001. Along the way he has served his clients with the utmost care and service. He was among the first in Arkansas to hold the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation. A strong believer in real estate education he went on to receive the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation and the coveted Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation. In addition, he became an instructor of the At Home with Diversity (AHWD) course for Realtors. Known for his integrity and service to the real estate industry, Doug was appointed by Governor Mike Huckabee to the Arkansas Real Estate Commission in 2004. He went on to hold the position of Chairman of the AREC in 2006. In 2007 he served as Regional Vice President of the National Association of Realtors! Doug has an outstanding career of service to his clients and customers combined with an authentic passion for helping others achieve their goals.
