HOW TO THAW A FROZEN TURKEY
(AKA: Preventing Thanksgiving Panic Mode)
Refrigerator Method
Slow, safe, and responsible — unlike your ex.
Plan: 1 day per 4–5 lbs

|---|---|
| 4–12 lbs | 1–3 days |
| 12–16 lbs | 3–4 days |
| 16–20 lbs | 4–5 days |
| 20–24 lbs | 5–6 days |
Instructions:
âś” Leave it in the wrapper (we don’t judge)
âś” Park it in a tray so raw turkey juice doesn’t stage a rebellion
âś” Keep fridge at 40°F or below
âś” Once thawed, it can chill (literally) 2 more days
Cold Water Thaw (For Procrastinators)
Plan: 30 minutes per pound
